Insurance companies tend to dictate the terms of treatment such as length of treatment, number of sessions allowed, and treatment approach, to name a few. They can also deny claims thereby interrupting treatment. Likewise, large scale web based providers may place arbitrary restrictions and parameters on treatment. Jill’s practice is rooted in real human connection, mutual trust, experiential learning, and ongoing dialogue about what supports your growth. Your care here will never be dictated by outside monitoring by for-profit entities. Together, we’ll regularly assess what’s helpful, what needs adjusting, and what’s next—whether that means shifting the frequency of sessions, incorporating other resources, pausing, or completing therapy. Every decision is made collaboratively, just between us, based on what best serves your healing and evolution.

I have a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you miss or cancel an appointment without 24 hours notice, you will be charged for the full fee. With that said, I understand that life happens and if unexpected changes in your schedule do occur, I will make a good effort to reschedule within the week in order to avoid the cancellation fee.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
If you believe you’ve been wrongly billed or for more information about your rights under Federal law, you may visit: www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
